I know a game that has been recommended ages ago, airhockey! I still believe that it could be fun, it is an intensive game. Most intensive game up to date ought to be table tennis, which also has a decreasing interest on shockplay.
Maybe even speaking of table tennis, a renewed version of it!? Could it bring back the fun on the green table ;)
About the couronne team play, have an idea which at the same time can be counted as a question for our moderator, mr Rocketman.
The couronne board o has 4 sides, and there must be a reason for that? Why not play 4 players at the same time, 1 on each side? Would make the game quite interesting when it comes to tactics don't you think? Is this possible programming Rocket?
Oh I'll be ack with more ideas as soon as they fall in to my skull and I don't have a legue waiting against gäddan1 :D

Orkar inte ta detta på engelska men lite förslag på spel som skulle kunna passa.

Snooker - i grund och botten ett simpelt spel, men med en stor portion taktik inblandat.

Kortspel som Chicago (Poängpoker med tre byten och "spel"), Gin Rummy eller varför inte min favvo plump.

I also got an idea for a new game. It is a single player game and its a couronne single player game.
Everybody who plays couronne knows that the best thing you can do is to sweep and that you fell good after you have done it. So why no create a single player sweep game! With maybe 100-500 sweep opportunities and every oportunity should be like 1 lvl. It should be just like Shangai Solitare is now where you get your rank by how many lvls you have completed.

P.s Snooker was a brilliant idea I must say or just pool would be awesome.

Cardgames like hearts, spades, pyramid and chicago should be fun. Also singelpuzzelgames like them on king.com etc; Bejeweled, Bomb Bomb, Tetris and Block Party. =)

I have an idea that I've mentioned before but I think it's worth mentioning it again. I have a widescreen monitor and thus when I'm playing couronne in the fullscreen mode the picture is streched which, in my opinion, makes it quite hard to aim right. Therefore I've asked Rocketman to put in a function that allows you to change the resolution in the fullscreen mode...

I am sorry Wolf, but I have no ideas at all about Shockplay. I only play Couronne.
Besides couronne, I only watch Snooker and Tour de France on Eurosport, when its broadcasted, concerning sports.

Will really the NEW Shockplay do Couronne better?

I even think it could destroy the game for many in here.
I guess it will be a whole new board playing on. And the shots might get another initial speed including different bounces?

Scandal, I am pretty sure that they will not change the couronne game itself just e.g. the leaguemode and tournamentmode.

Scandal i now so much that i can promise u that the couronne game will be exactly the same!!

A guess so is it possible with for ex, the graphic and the leauge system bee lttle different.

But if it bee more fine and a better more exaiting leauge system so did i tink its a positiv thing and maybe more competitions or??

Ok, Good - Lets see when it arrives.
Its only I once tested another couronne site - and there the things I mentions were a reallity.
I wouldnt mind a new board.
But I think it would be tough for many players in here if the marks and so had changed or even disappeared.

Well, speculating makes no good I guess. Because no matter what happens or no matter who is hurt in the fall (effected by some changes) there will be complaints, there always is complaints. "Thats not fair, I practiced that for months and now I can't do it because of this stupid changes" just an example!
Probably these coplaints will come from people with no genuine skills or that does not play on shckplay for fun, people that really need to prove something (to them selves?).
Change things, could be fun. But of course not too much.
The basics of the game will always be the same and the best players will still be the best players!? Then of course changes could benefit some and some not but shit happens, right or wrong?

I'm tempted to agree with Scandal re; the new changes to couronne.
I know Wolfys said that it wont change much, be people can be fickle.
Even the slightest of changes towards the way the game is played could see a dramatic drop in members.
A lot of people have been playing on shockplay for many years, myself included, because they enjoy couronne.
Maybe a light re-vamp re; graphics would be good, but changing the game itself could be fatal...

With re; new games, how about poker? I think it would take off pretty well and you could implement a league system similar to the current games.
I suppose it would depend how many people would be happy to play for fun and not money...

I had an idea for a new variation of couronne.
It would be a sweep competition, with each player having their own individual screens but the same starting position.
It would start with a random break by the computer, then each player could compete to see who can sweep or get closer to it.
I've always been interested to see how people would do with the same position, it might be fun.

Ps. Could the point system maybe be changed?
The current one, although fair enough, seems to create victims of success once you've gained a lot of points.
And no matter what anyone says, points do matter, else why would we play for them!?

Cardiak: Yes I can agree to that it might decrease membership status, but one must not be afraid of changes either!? But as I said of course not to much.
When it comes to the points I can only speak for my self, and I know a couple of others I speak for. :)
Yes points matter to most people, but no I care zip zero about points. I play this game for sweeps, mostly I play tours. But are there no tours to play I'm more than happy to play points games to be able to try and make a few sweeps. Who cares if you have like I have 80000 or 30 or 40000? I sertantly do not! :)
Btw nice to see some non Swedes writing in here, get som more in, we need a lot of ideas and oppinions :)
Lanski, actually not such a bad idea. But for how long would people give up the regular sweeps for that kind of playing, could it be everlasting?

A random breaks should bee more fun then today,more different, more skills, its also possible to say that u must shot atleast 50% power for to could break also a way i belive.

DD i agree with all u say, but why did u think it should not bee any more sweeps, and sweep chanses in leauge instead off all tapbreaks. Tactic and pushing thats ok and a part off it, offcurse tapbreaks also is but suchs so boring, meny games very like ich other and not so much skills. but i now the all best dont tapbreak they have the skills for all sorts game.
We all now how meny who today play 0-0 games just for sweep and good statistic.
I dont talk abaout any off u, all off u are very god sweepers without stuff like that.

That's easy to say if indeed you have 80,000 points though isn't it Mr D.
You don't get thay many without playing for them do you? =)
There must be a lot of people who only play for points, ie SINGER.
He is without a doubt the main victim of success, for being no4 in ratings there is not a single player he can gain a decent number of points from...surely this isn't 'fair'?

Speaking of tournaments, could the number of tours limited to person be increased?
To say 2, or 3?
I understand it's only 1 to limit the amount made, but having a couple of your own might be nice :)

Who do I have to talk to, to get involved more?
I've always wanted to be an admin for shockplay, even for minor leagues or something.
Who's ass do I have to kiss for this to happen? =)

And I would love to have a opportunity to make more tours than 1 at a time cause it sometimes can take soooo long before the finals are played :) Having the limit up to 2 cannot be impossible to fix? ;)

Agree that it would be intresting with that kind of sweep competition! Everyone has their own style when playing =) Maybe I could learn a thing or too xD

2 more thing left to say about the points games!
SINGER put him self in that position by his choises of players (saying no more)
I play anyone who challanges me in points (if I'm inte the couronne room)
There is 1 player and 1 player only that plays me that has more points, Cronos! Cause he got the skills for it and won't lose on playing me (not much anyway)
I woulden't care if I was put down to 10000 points, (but then others would so...) ;D

Why dont play something like that om shock? I now meny cor players who dont play bg leauge because off that it take to long time but some say some days 4-8 decided when long before, im sure they play also.
New game must bee so hole family think its fun from big to small, some cardgames, domino, Fia (cant the English word for that:) some more leauges........
And hope Rocketman come with some totaly new fun games:)

I had an idea and its not regarding the new shockplay, But its about a team tournament. Correct me if I aim wrong but wouldn´t it be possible if we for example made a group of 20 players and devide those 20 people in to 5 teams(randomly) (4 people in every team) SO it would be Group 1 containing 1 person out of every group and then there is group 2 with 1 other person from each team. This would make 5 groups 1 player in each and u get like 5 points for 1st place and 4 for second place and so. To make this happend we would need 5 persons to create the 5 groups and also 20 people who would like to participate(spelling?). Anyone else think this would be possible and want to make it happen?

Why not spiiik, why not? But might have to develop the idea a bit, for example, there would need to be a posobility for all the players to access all groups!?

But one other thing, about the golden tour.
Was great yesterday, when I had just started my league game against Zimond (which I won for once I might add =D) I got a question about golden from 2 players within 10 seconds. And not by anyone that has a good chance att the top eighter, no two players win less wins than losses. Good on you göran.rag and Remita, thank you for playing and waiting till after my league aswell.

I have såoken with some admins and they would need some time to talk over and they are busy now at the moment. But We will see what happends =)
